This contact page is for the independent publisher of warrandyte.com.au. It is not Manningham City Council’s customer service, Nillumbik’s switchboard, Parks Victoria’s 13 1963 information line, or Triple Zero.
Use the form below if you:
- spotted a factual error that you can back with a current official URL
- have a question about how this guide is organised
- want to know how to list a business on a category hub
- need to reach the editor for a rights or attribution issue on a photograph credit
Do not send medical details, payment card numbers, or anything you would not want stored in an email inbox.
How do I list a business?
Direct answer: there is no self-serve directory login, and we do not scrape the 2006 archive back onto the map.
If you operate (or represent) a genuine local service, send:
- The category that matches a hub — for example accommodation, florist, or civil celebrant.
- A public verification URL you control or that a regulator maintains (your website, ABN lookup context, a professional register, a council permit page). We will not take a Facebook rumour as proof.
- A short note on whether you serve Warrandyte itself, North Warrandyte, or a wider Manningham/Nillumbik catchment.
Even then, the default page style on this site is guidance, not a featured advertisement. We will not invent a ranking, a “best of” badge, or a price. If we cannot verify you, you will not be named.
Old directory filenames are not coming back as a phone-book. If you operate now, use the steps above. If you are looking for a service, start at the business index and verify on a current public page.
Who to contact instead
- Police, fire, ambulance: 000 (112 from some mobile networks if 000 is unavailable)
- VicEmergency hotline: 1800 226 226
- Parks Victoria: parks.vic.gov.au or 13 1963
- Manningham City Council: manningham.vic.gov.au
- Nillumbik Shire Council: nillumbik.vic.gov.au
- Public Transport Victoria: ptv.vic.gov.au
If your question is “are dogs allowed at Jumping Creek?”, the citeable answer is already written — and it starts with Parks Victoria’s rule — on this guide.
What happens to the message
The form posts through FormSubmit to the editorial address. You should receive whatever acknowledgement that service currently sends. We cannot promise a same-day human reply, and we will not debate unverified claims about traders, chefs, celebrants or “secret” swimming holes.
If you are sending a correction, paste the URL of the official source in the message body. “I was there last Tuesday” is useful colour; it is not a citation.
What a useful message looks like
Good: “The Jumping Creek dog page should mention assistance dogs; here is Parks Victoria’s current wording: [URL].”
Good: “I operate a landscape service in North Warrandyte. Public site: [URL]. Category: garden supplies and services.”
Bad: “Add my cafe, we are the best, here is a menu PDF with prices you can republish.”
Bad: “What time does Pound Bend close next Tuesday?” (That is Parks Victoria.)
Bad: “Can you send last year’s festival lineup?” (We would not invent it even if we remembered it.)
Privacy and records
Assume email is not a vault. Do not send identity documents “to prove” a business. A public web page is enough to start a listing conversation and still may not result in a name on a hub.
We will not argue in writing about neighbours, parking feuds, or claimed defamation by a 2006 listing. Those are not editorial jobs.
Other doors
If your question is really a walk, start at walks and reserves. If it is really a snake, start at Are there snakes in Warrandyte?. If it is really a fire plan for a household, start at CFA — not at a form that goes to an editorial inbox.
The form on this page posts via FormSubmit AJAX. Please do not use it as a load test. Please do not submit on behalf of a bot “to see if it works”.
After you write
If you asked about listing, wait for a human. Silence is not a listing. If you asked about a park rule, you may get a reply that is only a URL — that is a successful reply.
Form, inbox, and what we will not do
The FormSubmit AJAX endpoint is the supported path. Do not scrape it. Do not send test payloads. Do not attach executable files. A plain written message with a URL is enough.
If you are asking how to list a business, say the category hub you think you belong on. If you do not know, look at the business index first. If you still do not know, you may be in a trade we have not written a hub for — and the honest answer may be “use a licence search, not this domain”.
If you are a resident with a private dispute, council and police are the adults. If you are a journalist, say so, and still do not expect us to invent a festival date for your deadline.
Copyright complaints about photographs should name the Commons file and the page. We adapted tunnel and river images under CC licences and credited that in the footer. We will not host a stolen cafe interior.
The independent-guide sentence is also a boundary: we are not Manningham, not Nillumbik, not Parks Victoria, not CFA. Misaddressed mail still takes time. Address it right the first time.
